COMMISSION YOUR VERY OWN UNIQUE PAINTING!
Increasingly popular is the idea of commissioning an artwork of your own. This may be to commemorate an important event, perhaps bringing colour to an old black and white photo or to capture a moment with a much loved pet! It makes a wonderful and timeless gift.
Perhaps you have an old 'snap' that I can work from, or a series of photos you'd like montaged together - the possibilities are endless. If you'd like to talk about what's involved please contact me and we can talk it through, but essentially there are four simple steps...
Step 1.
Simply send me a copy of your photo by email, text or post along with your instruction.
Step 2.
I’ll send you an option on the costs and an estimate of the time it will take me to complete.
Step 3.
I send you a photo of your painting for approval, discuss framing options and arrange delivery of your unique artwork.
Step 4.
You hang your picture and enjoy!
Example 1
In this wedding painting I was asked to combine the characters from two photos and use the background from a third. I was also asked to cheat the background by incorporating several well known landmarks that couldn't actually appear in the same 'photo'.

Here is a good example of what I could do with an old photograph for you.
Working from an old black and white original print ( size 100 mm x 80 mm) this much loved old photograph was given a new lease life and now the unique watercolour painting is proudly on display on the owner's wall.
