Towards Breageside, Porthleven. This is a view of the less painted 'Breageside' of Porthleven – viewed from 'Sithneyside'. In 1923 my great grandfather, Jim Dale, moved farms - driving all his cattle into Porthleven having travelled from Nanspean across the Loe Bar around the harbour, up Breageside and on to Rinsey. Fishermen helped to keep the cattle from falling into the harbour!
